Do you need some space too, white space?

Do you need some space too, white space?

W.H.I.T.E. Space?

I am curious. Tell me, do you need white space?

White space for me it is to be fully 100% present in the moment, feel it, enjoy it, take it all in, don’t feel pressured to run to the next thing on your to-do list instead creating some space to let you feel your emotions, connect with your thoughts, let your inner creativity flow naturally, taking a pause to talk to yourself, hear yourself out.. That’s white space!

I certainly do.

How can you have some of it?

Oh, most certainly. The simple and straightforward answer is, “by eliminating the unnecessary noise”

Sharing my experience of creating it for myself so you can get inspired to create something on your own for yourself, not because I said so, but because you need it and you acknowledge it is important for your emotional & mental well-being which will eventually help you in moving forward and becoming the person you want to become.

First things first, it takes courage

– to acknowledge that you need it
– to give yourself permission to try creating it
– to eliminate the unnecessary

I am moving forward considering you are still reading this, you have got what it takes. Here is exactly what I did:

Acknowledged it not only in my heart but in my head also, I wrote it down in my journal. Writing things down makes them real.

Analyzed & recognized the difference between what is absolutely essential and what is unnecessary. Your values, your goals are the necessary bits and everything that somehow makes you deviate from them can be considered unnecessary.

– Chose: eliminated the noise consciously
Since I spend too much time online, creating content, sharing it and making real connections, building my business, following and observing *some* amazing people. I have to say, there is too much noise and “junk” on the internet. It is not only information overload but also opinion overload, everyone has a say about what you should or shouldn’t be doing. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion but it is your choice to listen and pay attention to whoever speaks to your heart and your inherent values are the same.

In simple words, stop following people who makes you want to be someone else or who makes feel bad about yourself. I want you to remember, you are an amazing work of art. You are allowed to carve your own path to success and that can only happen if you take some time out, pause and discover your authentic voice first. Remember to take a pause, once in a while and ask yourself,
What do I mean by that?

“Is this activity or opportunity the best use of my time?”

There are far more activities & opportunities out there than we have time for. Remember, Less is better – so you can focus on what is essential. You have a limited time on this planet, how you want to spend it should be your choice.

I don’t want you to have this regret at the end of your life,

“I wish I had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me”

We can either make our choices consciously or allow other people’s agenda to control our lives. When we have clarity of purpose, it enables us to succeed in our ventures.

“A choice is an action” – Essentialism by Greg Mckeown

While we may not always have control over how we choose among them. I encourage you to create some white space for yourself, take a pause, connect with yourself and start afresh intentionally.
